Volunteers make ministry possible…
Passionate, dedicated, Jesus loving volunteers make ministry at Pregnancy Resources possible. Every year, one volunteer is highlighted for how they offer the love and compassion of Jesus Christ in a truly unique way. This year’s Outstanding Volunteer of the Year has been connected with Pregnancy Resources since our earliest days. Since 1991, she has served as a volunteer, a staff member, and now a volunteer again. She has helped shape and lead ministry with gentle grace. We are thrilled to name Kathy Nagle the 2020 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year. Kathy has served alongside all three Executive Directors at Pregnancy Resources – and here are a few words from each of us…
“Kathy Nagle has served Christ in so many ways as a part of Pregnancy Resources. Whatever the task that was needed, she was willing to serve the Lord by doing it. The most powerful part of her calling has been to serve Post-Abortive women. Many women have learned of the love and forgiveness Christ has for the post-abortive because of Kathy. These women didn’t know how to experience the forgiveness of Jesus because they didn’t know how to forgive themselves. Kathy faithfully led each group of women through a healing program that never failed to change lives and bring women into a deeper walk with Christ. Words cannot express what an honor it was to serve with her. Congratulations Kathy and thank you for all you do.” CJ Payne Executive Director 1990 – 2010
“No one deserves volunteer of the year more than Kathy Nagle! She was my first excellent Administrative Assistant until she retired and has been a fantastic volunteer ever since. Her commitment to the ministry from its earliest days as a volunteer and then staff member has been phenomenal. Her flexibility and support through all the various changes has been admirable; she is truly a Godly example!” Susan Skoglund Executive Director 2010 – 2019
“Kathy was the first person I met at Pregnancy Resources. When I started volunteering in 2009, Kathy made me feel welcomed and she assured me that God had a purpose for me in this ministry. She is one of the most genuine and encouraging women I have ever known. Kathy still teaches me today how to lead well with compassion and grace.”
Trisha Wilson Executive Director 2019 – Current
