When a couple walks through the doors of a pregnancy center, it’s easy to focus on the mother. She deserves compassion, care, and practical support. But there is someone else whose heart and decisions often shape the future of that child—the father.
Research consistently shows that a father’s involvement has a significant impact on pregnancy decisions and the long-term well-being of both mother and baby. That’s why Pregnancy Resources intentionally ministers to men through our Dad-vocates. These trained volunteers come alongside fathers with encouragement, biblical truth, and practical support from early pregnancy through the toddler years.
Often men arrive feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or unprepared. A Dad-vocate offers a listening ear, shares hope, and helps that new dad recognize the incredible influence he can have on his family.
Through our Dad-to-Dad coaching and fatherhood classes, new and expectant fathers join a community where experienced dads share wisdom, answer questions, and model what it looks like to lead a family with love and integrity. The encouragement is genuine, and the impact often reaches far beyond the pregnancy.
As they participate, fathers can earn essential baby items while investing in their families. Diapers, infant and toddler clothing, car seats, and other necessities help ease financial burdens while reinforcing an important truth: providing for a child begins with showing up, learning, and leading well.
Strong fathers help build strong families. As men embrace God’s design for fatherhood, mothers gain support, children gain stability, and generations are influenced for Christ.
