My story and connection with Pregnancy Resources started about two years ago when another woman in her late 20s – whom I will call Sara came to Pregnancy Resources to confirm her pregnancy. Sara had been involved with a man significantly older than her for several years. The relationship involved addiction, anger, and the pressure to abort. Instead of abortion, Sara chose Life for her child and picked my husband and me to be her child’s forever parents.
Little Emmett was born a few months later, early, with some complications, and he spent 29 days in a Peoria hospital. Emmett is now an energetic and spirited toddler with NO complications! He brings us so much joy each day, and we are grateful for Sara’s love for Emmett, which allowed us to become parents to such a special little boy. We are thankful to Pregnancy Resources for helping Sara feel supported. May God continue to bless this ministry.
